| A Ross Rowland steam excursion entitled, The Wilkes-Barre Limited, is seen at Solomon's Gap with Central Railroad of New Jersey ALCO RS3 #1554 and EMD SD35 #2506 helping Canadian Pacific CLC 4-6-2S #1286 and #1238. Per the train dispatchers sheet, the special was eastward by Ashley at 5:05 PM and Solomon's Gap at 6:13 PM. The sheets noted, "Psgr Ex Stalled at Gtown". The CNJ #1554 and #2506 were called into assist and west west by Solomon's Gap at 3:36 PM and then by Laurel Run at 5:20 PM to couple to the excursion. |
