ARHS Digital Archive - About
As time passes, railroading changes. History is made over time and quality images preserve history.
The Anthracite Railroads Historical Society Digital Archive was created to work towards that end. We
are here to ensure the preservation and accessibility of railroad images and documents
relating to the anthracite railroads of eastern Pennsylvania. While there are many web sites and
groups where viewers can see images and documents from these railroads, this archive is dedicated
to organizing and cataloging such items, allowing them to be more accessible for viewers.
To date, the archive features images from 86 photographers.
